I called for A/C service and requested that they bring a 20x25x4 filter to replace my old filter. He serviced the unit, then left without telling us. When he returned he said he needed to get a filter. The person that took the service call did not tell the service person to bring a filter. QC Mechanical then charged us $80.00 for a $39.00 filter. He said it was standard practice. Be ware of QC Mechanical.

QC Mechanics is AMAZING!!! Our air broke unexpectedly and they came to our house quickly. (Under 24 hours) They are very communicative. They fixed the issue in a timely fashion and are very affordable!

We had a complete system installed by a different HVAC contractor and had huge problems. We were referred to QC Mechanical and owner Jerry McSwain. He came over promptly and assessed the situation. There were 14 items not to code with the other contractors installation, worst was a furnace that did not match with the coil and compressor and the system was not level, causing water from the coil to leak into the supply plenum and create tons of mold. Jerry and his team replaced furnace, coil and supply plenum, fixed all issues out of code, and passed inspection from the county. He worked with us on pricing to help us since we just paid for all of this 3 months earlier. I can't say enough about his knowledge and compassion for his clients. We will be a client of QC Mechanical as long as Jerry is in business!

Johnny Riddle came by to do the semi-annual maintenance on our system and did a great job informing us of what he found and some suggestions to keep an eye on. Excellent service.

QC Mechanical is the only call you need to make if you are having heating and AC issues. I called them, and Jerry was out to my house ASAP to fix our AC. Jerry came over as soon as he could and fixed it so my air was cooler for the few days until he could install the necessary part that I needed.

I live in Salisbury, NC and had heard great things about QC Mechanical out of Charlotte, NC. I gave them a call and Jerry, came out and diagnosed the problem, which involved replacing my 24 yr. old HVAC system. Jerry took measurements, ordered materials and scheduled his install team all within a 24 hr. period. The new unit was installed in one day and is working perfectly.
